That One Day in May

 My "across the street" neighbors have these beautiful apple trees that bloom for a day or two.. until the wind blows.  took a photo of this one from my side door.  Love the Pink.   

4-30-25   This so needed more color. I darkened sky and shadows today.  I really like the large tree now, with the open spaces around the branches.  Sky is a little wonky but darker.  

"I"ll have what he's having" Gifted to nephew Joe

 sketched these faces awhile ago in my tablet of w/c paper, using a photo i took 30 years ago at the Dresden museum sausage breakfast.  I painted it last night and it developed into this.  Title cracks me up, not sure why.

9-3-25  Just felt like doing it....  i repainted this oldie last night. so much better. got rid of the extra coaster and the awful grey foreground and oh ya', the clown faces.    

 

I painted this "Three is a Pear" painting in 2010.  it was gifted to a family member until 3 years ago, when i got it back.  I have exhibited it at the gallery and in several shows.  Yesterday I brought it home and today I messed it up real good, but had a giggling good time doing it. It is Acrylic. 

 5-5-24  Today i changed the title.  there is a lot of evil that is ignore and accepted in our society..

 Moving art around at G4 this month.  Brought this home and gave it the hack saw treatment ..  had a 11"x 14" matt with a tish of green..  i added a tish of green to painting ..  always sad to cut up a watercolor but "oh well"..  it's cozier, if nothing else..
