I love checking out the Daily Painting Blogs. They do neat little paintings of simple things in wonderful colors, etc.. i did this today in about an hour or so.. in Acrylic, using some of the techniques i did in the color workshop i took 2 weeks ago.

Repainting again... Added an interesting dark sky and wah-lah..... so much better.. Used a photo i took @ a workshop many years ago and always liked how the shadow moved thro the picture .. the bucket, towel, water squirter and paints are my set-up...

Foolish Follage SOLD

I did this acrylic "drip trees" painting at the workshop last week.. i kinda like it.. it has been done many, many times (not by me). it is a fun exercise in looseness..

I was so lucky to get in on a fun acrylic workshop in Cormorant Village, MN, last week.. several of us "arteests" got to leave the flooding behind for a couple of days and play with "color"..

I have painted the car so many times trying to make it look good.. something seems to be wrong with it.. now it is blue

I cut the photo of this lady out of an AARP magazine many years ago .. I had it in my 'art bag' and painted this using the photo, @ our Thursday painting group.. i stayed pretty loose and was so happy with it.. SO FUN!!!
