Home again, Home again

Well, we are back home on the tundra.. ice everywhere.. "spread that salt and sand" so I can go out into the world..
We had a wonderful time in Oregon--Kids, Grandkids, great restaurants, relatives, hanging out at the coast, Chico's outlet.. can't get much better than that..
Am pleased to have the Hjemkomst Cultural Center buy all my note cards, that are in their gift shop, and they may want more.

Going to Oregon...

We are leaving tomorrow to spend 3 weeks in Oregon with family.. I am taking my colored pencils along... so I might have something new to post.. and maybe not.
I watched "Julie and Julia" last night.. Julie got a lot of attention with her blog. Fun movie.. loved it.. glad i am doing art and not cooking.

I painted this "loverly" lady in 2005 and donated it for Pekin's fund raising auction.. the theme was "Mardi Gras" but it works for New Years too. Once a party girl, always a party girl, i always say.............
