"Gotcha a present"

That time of the year again, where we exchange original painted cards at our meeting.  I have had this Christmas elf figure forever. He is made of paper mache, i think..  I actually laid him on my paper and drew around him with pencil then watercolored, as i do....  isn't he adorable????  

 

Joe's Boys! Commission

 My nephew, Joe, asked me to paint this watercolor using a photo he had taken 20 + years ago.  It was really fun.  My favorite part was painting the boys and their body language.  Joe was pleased, I hope.  

Theme wall 12-25 "Wishes"

To help me get thru a sad day (my friend Ag died today), I painted to get ready for the December theme wall at G4.  I added a candle to a 2010 painting of a cup cake.  and  it just seemed like a moon and star are fitting for Wishes.  I cut the image of the moon out of packing tape and it worked OK..
