JFK and OSJ in the 60's

 This is one of my first ever commissions.   Reference was a photo in the newspaper. OSJ was a senator in our state, his son asked me to paint this.  I hadn't seen it for 40 years or more and was pleased to find out the family has kept it around.  I worked in oil then. 

Those were the good days in our country and it wasn't difficult to "look at" and "listen to" our U.S. President, like it is now.  .. 

Doors

Had the opportunity to hang art on front wall at G4 this month.  I painted the top one to go with the shed door. I enjoy painting windows and doors and wood.  May have to add animals to make art buyers happy.  just joking.  
 

"Before they are gone"

 I love re-doing my art.  Theme this month at G4 is No Cents.  So what did I do??  Threw some pennies and glued them down.  Oh Ya !  Love how the one penny caught the light for the photo.
