Birdie B and B , "Meet me for a Drink? " and "Opening Soon"

Another 5x7 acrylic. I'm really  not a flower painter but got involved in the shading and delicate colors .  Used one of my photos of Carl's irises.  They miss him too.  
 

This frame had a fancier vibe.  So i concentrated on atmosphere and toned down colors. Thought about adding Lime slices on the drinks but the Green may have been dangerous ..  

I usually recoil when someone says my art is "Cute"  but with this bird house one, i think it is OK..   I have a lot of small frames in "storage"..  most are designed for photos.  I did find a few usable plus a friend gave me some small canvas boards..   these are acrylic using limited amounts of colors.  I like painting that way.

 I have had these frames forever.  Had my kids grad photos in them for years.  I wish i knew who made them, either my Dad or my uncle Bill.   ANYWAY, i painted these 5"x7" canvases in acrylic and had the right idea of putting them on front of the frames. Wah Lah!!  oh what kinda price goes on these for the Cormorant Art Show next month !!!
