 My niece Becky has retired (What??) and has gotten into gardening and arranging flowers in the most beautiful ways.  This is my interpretation of one, using a photo she sent.  I painted it yesterday cause i was needing to create something.   

Humble Hummels

 We are having an ancestry themed show at G4 next month.  I am mostly German, What to paint??  My parents brought these figures back from their trip to Germany in the 70's.  They were prized and special at that time.     They reside in my china cupboard with a lot of other weird stuff.

I did this image in Watercolor many years ago. Loved the colors .. Painted this one in Acrylic yesterday afternoon to keep my mind off hearing about a friends husband being SO sick.  It brings back thoughts of Carl's illness and treatments.  AANYWAY  .. I may post the old w/c on here as well.   i found it..   "Lone Chair"was on my blog in 2009. ..   
 

In A Fowl Mood and Worn Out

This is how i spent the 4th, painting small.  They are 5" x 5" in acrylic.  I have painted these images before in different formats, so i feel like i "know" them. Do I need more ideas for subject matter?  Really??

This is really my pin cushion that i have had since i was a young person.  It was my Mom's. I had SO much fun painting this in acrylic with my tiny tiny brush.  I know, i'm anal.  

 I have a lot of photos of antique lawn chairs to use for subject matter.  They are delightful.  I changed the background on this three times.  geez.
