I did this image in Watercolor many years ago. Loved the colors .. Painted this one in Acrylic yesterday afternoon to keep my mind off hearing about a friends husband being SO sick. It brings back thoughts of Carl's illness and treatments. AANYWAY .. I may post the old w/c on here as well. i found it.. "Lone Chair"was on my blog in 2009. ..

- It is very difficult for ME to write about ME. I LOVE art and painting is my passion. I have been married to high school sweetheart, Carl, for 48 years. we have 4 children and 6 grandkids, ranging from 4 to 25 years of age. they are a delight. I have been attempting to create art for about 44 years, taking a class or workshop at least once a year. I worked as a geriatric nurse for about 20 years, am retired and love my life.... Aug 2015...A year ago, my husband of 53 years died of cancer 3 months after he was diagnosed. . There is sadness. I have the most wonderful kids and family..art is keeping me sane, I think... Nov 2019.. still painting and adding to my blog. i must add the bio info that i have 3 Great Granddaughters now.. how did that happen so fast. 3-2024 still painting and blogging
