Gary's folks

This is a watercolor commission for an artist friend. The photo reference he sent me was great, taken in early '40s when photos were clear in black & white. I enjoyed doing it.

Getting Bling Ready SOLD

Was asked to exhibit my stuff in the Bling Showcase this weekend.  My farm themed work is what I love, but I painted this for fun. We will see how that will work for me..
this painting was a little "too pink"  I dabbled with the background, it helped, I think.

Dresden SOLD

This is an acrylic of the Dresden Catholic church (where carl and I got married in 1961)..it is a commission.   I used the oil painting I did of this in the 70s as a reference. .it is a wonderful museum now...it was built with field stones in the 30s.

Cormorant tulips Gifted

Day one of karen's workshop, we all painted tulips over a design that allowed us to save the light path (whites) and just use 3 primary colors..I used neutral tint as my blue pigment..interesting results..fun to do. Beth, my daughter, has this in her new office @ edgewood vista, in a frame that her dad made..looks nice. ..
