I started this watercolor painting on a "paint out" a couple of summers ago. We went to a nursery and set up our easels, paints and snacks.. it was great fun. I painted, what i thought would be a fun, easy floral. It started out with red flowers with a dull background. I messed around with this picture for a long time.. had fun putting the circles and lines in the background. My friend, Bobbie, also an artist, suggested I make the flowers white.(using acrlyic paint) I then put the dark square behind.. it was a fun process. Donated to Lion's Club Auction.
